Hi. I’m Issy, and this is This Month’s Hobby!
This is the site where I indulge my ADHD and try and coax my mental health to a point deemed “no longer self destructive”. I love trying new hobbies and crafts, but I’m never able to get them to stick. So as a result, I have created a catalogue of each hobby, to help and inspire others on their own hobby journey. Below you’ll find the latest articles I’ve written, or check out the full catalogue above, and have fun!

What you’ll find on This Month’s Hobby:
On This Month’s Hobby, you’ll find a range of articles about all different hobbies.
To make it easier to navigate, I’ve split the website up into different categories: Arts and Crafts, Food, Outdoor, Digital, and Other.
In each article I’ll guide you through a brief history. Then I’ll tell you how I personally got started. After that I’ll explain step by step what I did during my time trying out the hobby.
Then I’ll offer you some tips and tricks to each hobby that I found as I went along, as well as links to anything I used or anything that I think you could find useful.
Then at the bottom of each article you’ll find my overall summary and score. I’ve broken down each hobby into four categories; budget, accessibility, satisfaction, and growth and development. Each category is scored out of 5, and the whole hobby is scored out of 20.
You will also find pictures of my finished projects in the gallery.
Please remember this is just my personal judgement about a hobby I’ve done in my spare time.
And that’s it! I hope you’ll enjoy and find some inspiration to start some of these wonderful hobbies yourself!
